Gooding’s Ed Tase earns OSHA Safety Training Certificate.

LOCKPORT, NY - November 24, 2009

LOCKPORT, NY – Ed Tase, National Account Manager for Gooding Co. Inc., recently completed the OSHA 10-hour Outreach Safety Training Program presented by Printing Industries Alliance, an Amherst, NY-based affiliate of Printing Industries of America, the largest printing trade association in the world.

The purpose of the program is to train individuals in employee safety and OSHA mandates for the printing industry. Through his certification, Tase is now authorized to train other Gooding employees in safety and health hazard recognition and prevention. The result is a safer workplace, reduced workers’ compensation insurance costs, and compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.

One of the nation’s oldest printing companies, Gooding was established in 1876 and transitioned into a specialty printer of inserts and outserts for the pharmaceutical and medical industries in 1990.
